********Important Notice*********
Please note that your Name and Address, as well as your Email Address will not be disclosed to any third party whatsoever.
As I only accept Paypal payments, your Credit card details are not disclosed to me at all.
Most of you who are reading this page have probably arrived here due to the note that I included with the Cutaway Practice Lock that you purchased from me via Ebay.
All of the locks that you see for sale on my Ebay page are available directly from this site, but with a discount of £0.75p for each lock purchased.
This discount is a direct result of the money saved by not having to pay the fees to Ebay
For security reasons, all orders will be shipped to your registered Paypal Address.
Postage within the United Kingdom is included in the purchase price, but due to the high cost of International shipping, I have to make a charge of £2.50p for the first lock purchased, ( Except the 5 lever mortice lock, which has a delivery charge of £2.95p) plus an extra £1.00 for each subsequent lock purchased and paid for on the same Paypal invoice.
Please send an Email to me at the address at the top of this page, or to my usual address, locksaway@googlemail.com and I will reply to you as soon as possible.
This web page is still under construction, and more items are continuously being added.
Here is a guide to the type of locks I manufacture.
I am often asked by my customers which lock they should buy to try their skills at lock picking.
Some people want to start off by trying to pick the most difficult one that I sell.
Others will start with the easiest to pick, and work up to the most difficult.
I have to tell them that unfortunately, its not as easy as it appears in the action movies, where the secret agent pulls a pick from out of his pocket and opens the lock within seconds (without a tension tool as well!!)
All my locks are manufactured from the same type of locks (in principle) that are fitted to maybe 95% of the homes in the United Kingdom, and possibly 60 % of the homes worldwide.
Obviously, this cannot be verified, but the point I am trying to make is that these locks are very common worldwide.
With reference to the scale of difficulty of picking these locks, I would rate them in the following order, with the easiest to pick being the first one.
1. 5 Pin Rim Cylinder……….Fitted with 5 Standard (straight) Pins
2. 6 Pin Euro…………………………….. Fitted with 6 Standard Pins
3. 5 Pin Euro ……..Fitted with 4 Security Pins and 1 Standard Pin
4. 6 Pin Rim Cylinder…….......…………..Fitted with 6 Security Pins
5. Ultimate Challenge 6 Pin Euro…..... Fitted with 3 Different types
of Security Pins ..(6 in total)
